For a number of years, the Rural Museums Network has been working to define and collate information on a Distributed National Collection of Agricultural Heritage Material.
Building up a national picture of how the story of farming is represented in museum collections will enhance public understanding of that material and access to it. From this work, a number of projects and surveys have been undertaken to support interpretation of these objects and their related stories.
